Keppe Motor is selected as finalist in the 2015-16 Global LEAP Awards in USA.

Keppe Motor, the award winning energy efficient motor technology, is participating in the Global Leap Award 2016, in San Francisco, California, and has been selected as Finalist in the Off Grid Fan Category.

This is an international competition that identifies and promotes the world’s best, most energy-efficient off-grid appliances, which are critical to global energy access efforts. This round of the Global LEAP Awards features competitions for televisions and fans that are designed for use with off-grid solar energy systems.

All Global LEAP Awards finalists have had their quality, durability, and energy performance evaluated according to international test laboratory best practices, and each finalist has been evaluated by a panel of off-grid market and technology experts.

The Global Leap Award is an initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial’s Global Lighting and Energy Access Partnership and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy. The seventh Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM7), is an annual meeting of energy ministers and other high-level delegates from the 23 CEM member countries and the European Commission. The goal is to provide an opportunity for the major economies to collaborate on solutions that advance clean energy globally and demonstrate tangible follow-up actions to COP21.

In addition to U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, CEM7 is expected to include global energy leaders such as China’s Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang; Maroš Šefčovič, Vice President for EU’s Energy Union; and India’s Minister of Power, Coal & New & Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal. Leaders from the business and investment community working in clean energy are also expected to participate as well as leaders from international energy organizations, foundations, research institutes, and academia.

CEM7 will also feature a two-day tented technology exhibit in San Francisco’s Union Square that will showcase clean energy technologies. Keppe Motor will be featured on booth 301/303.

About Keppe Motor

The Keppe Motor is a highly efficient motor that uses the principle of electromagnetic resonance to optimize its efficiency. It was developed by three researchers, Carlos Cesar Soós, Alexandre Frascari and Roberto Heitor Frascari, based on the discoveries of the scientist Norberto da Rocha Keppe, set forth in his book “The New Physics Derived From A Disinverted Metaphysics,” first published in France, 1996.
